What’s your “typical” working process?
When recording everything separately, I usually do so in the following order:
Drums, guitars, leads/solos, bass, vocals, additional sounds.
However, before I start recording drums, I create a click-track and/or record a “guide” (guitar) part (depending on what the drummer prefers) for the drummer to play along to first. Then, it’s on to recording drums!
When the drum recordings are finished it’s on to the editing part. Editing (in general) can be pretty time consuming, but it’s an essential part of the process.
These steps are repeated for all of the following instruments/parts.

Yes!
